Description: Medium-light body and aromatic with a rather pronounced acidity that is more characteristic of a Central. A washed SHG typica from the Chanchamayo region of northern Peru.
Region: Peruvian coffee grows in a vast region covering over 850 kilometers of the nation's interior peaks. This area is culturally rich, very rugged, and has very limited access. The specialty coffee industry here is still in its infancy, but promises to develop into something as special as Peru itself. Our Peruvian coffee is organically grown on farms in a region North of Machu Pichu, and East of Lima, the nation's capital.
